My name is Nawaf Suleiman.

I´m an Austrian- Jordanian Inventor and Entrepreneur, Business Developer for Industrial Plants.

After finishing the scientist secondary school in 1972, I started in free jobs in order to help my family and my father because I couldn´t afford the tuition fees for university. To get more specific and learn about industry I worked as a project enigneer foreman. I also found myself in the training field as I´ve gained so much experience with the vast numbers of projects that I handled and were responsible for.

I´ve had to improve my gained skills in that fields which made me to find solutions and modifications. These were my beginnings in working with innovations. Parallel to that I was a passionate reader, I´ve read thousands of books so the ideas start to spark in my head. Since at least that time my ideas and considerations are human matter.

With all the sparks in my head and the support and consulting from universities in Saudi Arabia and Jordan I was working on my new ideas. Ten years later, the first prototype was showed in Baghdad, Iraq at the international exhibition in 1984.

For lack of Intellectual Property and Patent laws, Investors and Experts who supported the project saw that I should consider continue my work in an Industrial country. I found myself in Austria in 1986. After I´ve applied for my first invention at the Austria Patent Office in Vienna I became a member in the Austrian Inventor and Patentee Society in 1987.

Based on my invention a I started a partnership with an Austrian company leading a research and development workshop in Vienna.

In 1990 I started a cooperation with a research center in Tripoli, Libya. Unfortunately, the cooperation was stopped due to an air travel ban over Libya.

In 1991, me and Mustafa Aljedayeh were granted an Austrian Patent Certification for a wind machine.

In 1995 I managed an institute for environmental solution in Jordan. The institute offered studies and consultancy for a environmental issue caused by the beverage industry in Jordan. I was granted a Patent certification from the Jordanian Patent Office in the field of water treatment. At that time I have filed another patent – it was about an energy saving cooker and oven.

In 1996 I was granted a silver medal in the most innovative idea from the Nuremberg invention exhibition in Germany. The invention was a new and one-of-a-kind concrete floor system that I have developed in cooperation with an Austrian company.

In the year 2001 I was granted an Austrian Patent with the title “Machine for the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical and cold-generating machine operating with compressed gas”

After that I became a member in the Mechatronics Chamber of Vienna, Austria.

In 2005 I started many cooperations in the field of research in environmental engineering. The first cooperation project was in Abu Dhabi, UAE together with the Office of the water Ressources Studies. Based on my Austrian Patent, we piloted and tested producing both electricity and ice from sea water. The second project was about producing desalinated and chilled water as a clean alternative to traditional cooling towers. During that time, the State of Qatar finished a pilot project to be used instead of traditional cooling towers which to open the way for outdoor air-conditioning for sports facilities and both private and public areas. That system was to produce clean energy without producing CO2 and water evaporation.

Based on that experiences and knowledge many consultant offices are designing clean energy cities concepts in Jordan and Austria.
